Fiona Graduated in 2009 from UCD with an honours degree in Physiotherapy.

She has worked in private practice in Australia and Ireland for the past 7 years, gaining experience in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal complaints and sports injuries. She joined the team at East Coast Physio in 2013.


  • Physiotherapist for the U-18’s Ladies Hockey team.
  • Physiotherapist for Glenealy Hurling Club for 2016.
  • While in Australia, Fiona worked closely with Australian football players and netball players. Back in Ireland, she has been involved with local rugby, GAA, soccer, hockey and athletics clubs. 
  • Physiotherapist for UCD Volunteers Overseas in 2009 where she travelled to India and worked with children with special needs in Delhi.
  • Fiona has completed a number of post graduate courses including back pain, shoulder injuries, Pilates, pain physiology, biomechanics, orthotic prescription and manual therapy.
  • She worked in two large public hospitals while in Australia, where she treated patients with neurological conditions, respiratory and medical complaints, and patients post orthopaedic and general surgeries.
  • Fiona’s special interests include shoulder pain and neck pain. She has a keen interest in sports injuries.

More about Fiona:

  • Fiona is a sports fanatic! She has played hockey for the Ireland Under 18 team, and currently plays hockey at Leinster senior club level with Old Alex Hockey Club.
  • She also enjoys playing tennis, running and cycling, and competes in triathlon.  She is also a member of Belpark Triathlon Club.

East Coast Physio has been an incredible resource for me when I am home in Wicklow. Whether it is to help with a current injury, or just to keep injuries at bay I have full confidence and comfort in knowing that they are there for me when I need them.
